General Manager

Overview

The General Manager oversees the daily operations of the nonprofit, ensuring that all programs run smoothly and effectively. This role involves coordinating staff, managing resources, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive social impact in Uganda. The General Manager is essential for maintaining the organization’s mission and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations and ensure organizational effectiveness.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with Little x Little’s mission.
  3. Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors and community partners.
  5. Lead and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  6. Monitor program performance and impact, making adjustments as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  8. Represent Little x Little at community events and meetings.
  9. Drive fundraising initiatives and support grant writing efforts.
  10. Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams and departments.
