Overview

The Business Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the nonprofit's financial health and operational efficiency. This position involves managing budgets, fostering partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth to support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda. By streamlining processes and enhancing organizational capacity, the Business Manager helps amplify our efforts to create positive change in the community.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  2. Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the nonprofit.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Coordinate fundraising activities and grant applications.
  5. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  6. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, recommending improvements.
  7. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations affecting the nonprofit.
  9. Facilitate communication between teams and departments for cohesive operations.
