Assets Manager

Overview

The Assets Manager at Little x Little is responsible for overseeing and optimising the organisation’s resources, including financial assets, physical properties, and equipment. This role ensures that all assets are effectively managed and utilised to support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda, while also maintaining transparency and compliance with regulations. Through strategic planning and monitoring, the Assets Manager plays a crucial part in maximising our operational efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement asset management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of physical and intangible assets.
  3. Conduct regular audits to ensure asset integrity and compliance with regulations.
  4. Manage inventory control, tracking asset utilization and performance metrics.
  5. Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate asset valuation and reporting.
  6. Provide training and support to staff on asset management best practices.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
  8. Prepare reports and presentations on asset management activities for stakeholders.
  9. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in asset utilization.
