Assistant Director

Overview

The Assistant Director plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to drive social impact in Uganda. This position involves overseeing program development, managing partnerships, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders to enhance community engagement and resource mobilization. The Assistant Director will collaborate closely with the leadership team to implement strategic initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Director in strategic planning and program development.
  2. Assist in managing daily operations and organizational workflows.
  3. Oversee project implementation, ensuring alignment with mission and goals.
  4. Coordinate with staff and volunteers for effective communication and teamwork.
  5. Assist in grant writing and funding proposals to secure resources.
  6. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact metrics.
  7. Engage with community stakeholders and foster partnerships.
  8. Support fundraising initiatives and donor relations activities.
  9. Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
