Assistant Projects Manager

Overview

The Assistant Projects plays a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of community-driven projects in Uganda. This position involves collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while also enhancing the impact on the communities we serve. Strong organizational skills and a passion for social change are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in planning and coordinating project activities to ensure objectives are met.
  2. Support the Project Manager in monitoring project progress and timelines.
  3. Maintain communication with stakeholders, including donors and volunteers.
  4. Prepare and organize project documentation and reports.
  5. Help manage project budgets and track expenses.
  6. Facilitate training sessions and workshops for community members.
  7. Conduct field visits to assess project impact and gather feedback.
  8. Collaborate with team members to identify challenges and develop solutions.
  9. Participate in fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives.
