Overview

The Director leads the organisation's mission to drive social impact in Uganda by overseeing strategic initiatives, managing programs, and fostering partnerships. This role involves guiding our team, ensuring effective resource allocation, and amplifying our outreach efforts to create positive change in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of organizational goals.
  • Oversee program development and implementation to ensure alignment with mission.
  • Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors and community partners.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure responsible budget management.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support organizational sustainability.
  • Represent the organization at community events and public forums.
  • Evaluate program impact and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all operations.
  • Advocate for the organization's mission and values in various settings.
