Assistant Executive Director

Overview

The Assistant Executive Director plays a vital role in supporting the Executive Director by helping to develop and implement organizational strategies. This position oversees daily operations, manages staff and volunteers, coordinates fundraising efforts, and ensures that programs align with the foundation's mission while enhancing financial sustainability.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Executive Director in the development and implementation of organizational strategies and initiatives.
  2. Oversee daily operations and ensure the foundation's programs are aligned with its mission and goals.
  3. Manage staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  4. Coordinate fundraising efforts and donor relations to enhance the foundation's financial sustainability.
  5. Prepare and present reports on program performance and organizational effectiveness to the Executive Director and Board.
  6. Facilitate communication between departments and serve as a liaison for external stakeholders.
  7. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
  8. Support the Executive Director in board meeting preparation and follow-up activities.
