Board Member

Overview

As a Board Member you will play a crucial role in guiding our nonprofit's mission to drive social impact in Uganda. You'll collaborate with fellow board members to shape strategic initiatives, ensure financial sustainability, and strengthen community partnerships, all while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Your insights and leadership will help us make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

  1. Attend and actively participate in board meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  2. Provide oversight and guidance on organizational policies and practices.
  3. Support fundraising efforts through personal contributions and networking.
  4. Advocate for the mission and vision of Little x Little in the community.
  5. Help build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners.
  6. Review and approve the organization’s budget and financial reports.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in nonprofit governance.
  8. Support the recruitment and evaluation of the Executive Director.
  9. Assist in developing and monitoring strategic goals and objectives.
  10. Act as a liaison between the board and the community, fostering engagement.
