Executive Secretary

Overview

The Executive Secretary plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nonprofit platform. This position involves managing schedules, coordinating communications, and supporting the leadership team to advance our mission of driving social impact in Uganda. The Executive Secretary will be a key player in fostering collaboration, efficiency, and effective outreach within the organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the executive's calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments efficiently.
  2. Prepare and organize documents for meetings, including agendas and minutes.
  3. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external communications.
  4. Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for executive staff.
  5. Maintain organized filing systems for important documents and records.
  6. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  7. Support the planning and execution of events and programs.
  8. Manage correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  9. Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  10. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
