Overview

The Infrastructure Manager oversees the planning, development, and maintenance of our operational systems and facilities. This role ensures that our infrastructure supports the organization’s mission effectively, facilitating smooth operations for our programs and services in Uganda. The manager collaborates with various teams to enhance efficiency and sustainability within our nonprofit platform.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for all infrastructure activities.
  • Manage budgets and resources for infrastructure initiatives effectively.
  • Coordinate with local communities and stakeholders to identify infrastructure needs.
  • Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement sustainable practices in all infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for infrastructure challenges.
  • Facilitate training and capacity-building workshops for community members.
  • Engage with donors and partners to secure funding for infrastructure projects.
