Overview

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to support our nonprofit initiatives in Uganda. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of our digital platforms, enabling seamless collaboration and communication among our team, volunteers, and community partners. By leveraging cloud technologies, the administrator contributes to our mission of driving social impact and enhancing organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, addressing issues proactively.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based solutions for data storage and processing.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy cloud solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on cloud tools and applications.
  • Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures for reference and training.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost management for cloud resources.
  • Facilitate disaster recovery planning and backup management to safeguard data.
