Overview

The Database Manager at the organisation plays a crucial role in organizing and maintaining our donor and volunteer information systems. This position ensures data accuracy and accessibility, enabling our team to effectively track contributions and engagement, ultimately driving our mission to create social impact in Uganda. With a focus on data integrity, the Database Manager supports our outreach efforts and enhances our community connections.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's database systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all platforms.
  • Develop and manage data entry procedures and best practices.
  • Generate regular reports for program evaluation and donor tracking.
  • Train staff and volunteers on database usage and data management protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align database needs with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular database audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in data migration and integration projects as needed.
