Overview

The Data Analyst at the organisation plays a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our mission forward. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our programs, helping us understand impact and improve decision-making. By turning numbers into stories, the Data Analyst supports our efforts to create positive change in communities across Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to community programs and initiatives.
  • Generate reports and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program teams to identify data needs and support decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Develop and maintain databases to ensure accurate data storage and retrieval.
  • Assist in creating data-driven strategies for fundraising and outreach efforts.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to inform program improvements.
  • Provide training and support to staff on data entry and analysis tools.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share findings and recommendations.
