Overview

The Recruitment Officer at the organisation plays a crucial role in attracting and selecting talented individuals to support our mission in Uganda. This position involves collaborating with various teams to understand staffing needs, developing engaging job descriptions, and managing the recruitment process to ensure we build a passionate and effective team dedicated to driving social impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with program managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Screen and shortlist candidates through resume reviews and interviews.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage the recruitment database and maintain accurate records of applicants.
  • Organize recruitment events and outreach programs to promote job openings.
  • Provide training and support to hiring managers on best recruitment practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions.
  • Prepare reports on recruitment metrics and provide insights for improvement.
