Overview

The Recruitment Assistant at the organisation plays a crucial role in supporting our team by coordinating the recruitment process for volunteers and staff. This position involves sourcing candidates, organizing interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, all while fostering a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with our mission of driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
  • Post job openings on various platforms and manage applications.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records and databases.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including document collection.
  • Communicate with candidates to provide updates and feedback.
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and recruitment materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the recruitment process.
  • Participate in outreach activities to promote job openings in the community.
