Overview

The Chairperson plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the organization’s strategic vision while ensuring effective program execution for community engagement. This position involves building strong relationships with donors and stakeholders, leading fundraising initiatives, managing daily operations, and advocating for social issues that align with our mission, all while fostering a collaborative environment for staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the organization\\'s strategic vision and mission.
  2. Oversee program design and execution to ensure impactful community engagement.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Lead fundraising efforts, including grant writing and donor outreach.
  5. Manage the daily operations of the organization, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  6. Recruit, train, and mentor staff and volunteers to foster a collaborative environment.
  7. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to inform future strategies.
  8. Advocate for social issues relevant to the organization’s mission.
  9. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in nonprofit operations.
  10. Communicate the organization’s impact and story to the public through various channels.
