Finance Administrator

Overview

The Finance Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations. This position involves processing financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting efforts, all aimed at maximizing our resources for impactful community programs in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily financial transactions, including receipts and disbursements.
  2. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  3. Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and nonprofit standards.
  5. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
  6. Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations.
  7. Support the finance team in grant management and reporting.
  8. Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements.
  9. Maintain financial documentation and filing systems for easy access.
  10. Provide financial insights and analysis to support organizational decision-making.
