Overview

The Finance Officer at the organisation plays a crucial role in managing the organization's financial health, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

  1. Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting and accounting.
  2. Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making.
  3. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding financial practices.
  4. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits.
  5. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
  6. Monitor cash flow and manage bank relationships.
  7. Coordinate with program teams to track project budgets and expenditures.
  8. Support fundraising efforts by providing financial insights and reporting.
  9. Train and assist staff on financial procedures and reporting requirements.
