Overview

The Dispatch Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of supplies and resources to our community projects across Uganda. This position involves coordinating logistics, tracking inventory, and collaborating with team members to streamline operations, ultimately supporting our mission to create positive social impact.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of transporting goods and personnel to project sites.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities and inventory levels.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and partners regarding delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies during transportation.
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Assist in planning and optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide support in training volunteers and staff on dispatch procedures.
  • Respond promptly to any logistical challenges or emergencies that arise.
