Overview

The Dispatch Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient distribution of resources and supplies to our community programs in Uganda. This position involves coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the logistics team to maximize our impact. The Dispatch Clerk is essential in helping us reach those in need quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of supplies and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatched items and monitor inventory levels.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external partners regarding dispatch schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and necessary paperwork.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for quality and completeness before dispatch.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to dispatch operations.
  • Support logistics planning and optimize routes for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service to partners and stakeholders regarding dispatch inquiries.
