Overview

The Logistics Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our programs by overseeing the planning, implementation, and coordination of all logistical activities. This includes managing transportation, supply chain processes, and resource allocation to support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for making a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of supplies and materials for programs.
  • Manage transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock management processes.
  • Collaborate with program teams to understand their logistical needs.
  • Establish relationships with local suppliers and transport providers.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.
  • Analyze logistics performance data and recommend improvements.
  • Train and manage logistics staff to enhance team efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage logistics budgets and reports.
