Overview

The Director of Product will lead the development and enhancement of our nonprofit platform, ensuring it effectively meets the needs of our community, donors, and partners. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful solutions that drive social change in Uganda and beyond, while prioritizing user experience and engagement.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the strategic vision for product development aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Manage the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
  4. Conduct market research to identify trends and user needs.
  5. Monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors and community partners.
  7. Oversee budget management and resource allocation for product initiatives.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  9. Provide leadership and mentorship to the product team.
  10. Communicate product vision and updates to the broader organization and community.
