User Experience Lead

Overview

The User Experience Lead will drive the design and enhancement of our digital platforms to ensure they are user-friendly and accessible for our community members. This role involves conducting user research, creating intuitive interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the overall experience for our donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries. By prioritizing user needs, the User Experience Lead will help amplify our mission and impact in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement user-centered research strategies to understand user needs and preferences.
  2. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts effectively.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on user experience goals and objectives.
  4. Analyze user feedback and usability testing results to inform design decisions and improvements.
  5. Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  6. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster creativity and innovation in user experience design.
  7. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Little x Little's user experience competitive.
  8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior design team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
