Overview

The Social Media Executive will create and manage engaging content across our social media platforms to amplify our mission and connect with supporters. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, responding to community interactions, and analyzing engagement metrics to drive our outreach efforts and foster a vibrant online community dedicated to social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  2. Create and curate compelling content tailored for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  3. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to inform ongoing strategy adjustments.
  4. Engage with followers and respond to inquiries in a timely, friendly manner.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with broader organizational goals.
  6. Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
  7. Assist in organizing and promoting online events and fundraising campaigns through social channels.
  8. Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and messaging across platforms.
  9. Support community outreach efforts by sharing impactful stories and updates from the field.
  10. Work with graphic designers and other creatives to produce visually appealing content.
