Overview

The Recruitment Manager at the organisation is responsible for attracting, selecting, and onboarding talented individuals who are passionate about driving social impact in Uganda. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand their staffing needs, creating effective recruitment strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. By building a strong and diverse team, the Recruitment Manager helps advance our mission of empowering communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the organisation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and create job descriptions.
  • Manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews and selecting hires.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of potential candidates through various channels.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Organize and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
  • Train and support hiring managers on effective interviewing and selection techniques.
  • Promote the organisation’s mission and values to attract like-minded candidates.
