Overview

The Organizational Development Officer at the organisation plays a vital role in enhancing the nonprofit's capacity to achieve its mission. This position focuses on strengthening internal processes, fostering collaboration among team members, and ensuring effective resource management to maximize social impact in Uganda. Through strategic planning and capacity building, the officer helps the organization adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement strategies for organizational growth and capacity building.
  2. Facilitate training workshops and development programs for staff and volunteers.
  3. Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement within the organization.
  4. Foster partnerships with local communities and stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate organizational progress and challenges.
  7. Support fundraising efforts through grant writing and donor engagement.
  8. Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization.
  9. Assist in strategic planning processes to align with the organization's mission and vision.
  10. Provide mentorship and support to staff in achieving their professional goals.
