Overview

The IT Auditor ensures the integrity and security of our technology systems, assessing compliance with policies and identifying areas for improvement. This role involves conducting audits, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard our mission-driven resources. Your insights will help us maintain transparency and accountability as we drive social impact in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct audits of IT systems and processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
2. Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and identify vulnerabilities within systems.
3. Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
4. Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement corrective action plans.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practices.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance auditing practices.
7. Provide training and support to staff on IT security best practices.
8. Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
9. Participate in special projects related to IT compliance and security.
