Fleet Supervisor

Overview

The Fleet Supervisor oversees the management and maintenance of our vehicle fleet, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for our programs across Uganda. This role includes coordinating logistics, scheduling, and training drivers, while also monitoring vehicle performance to support our mission of driving social impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring efficient vehicle utilization.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Monitor and track fuel consumption and expenses to optimize operational costs.
  • Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures in line with organizational goals.
  • Train and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and incidents.
  • Coordinate logistics for transportation needs related to projects and events.
  • Work closely with other departments to support their transportation requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
