Overview

The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of staff, volunteers, and materials to various project sites across Uganda. This position requires reliable navigation skills, a commitment to vehicle maintenance, and a friendly demeanor to foster positive relationships within the team and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, volunteers, and materials to various locations.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational safety protocols.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding travel plans and schedules.
• Provide support during events and outreach activities as needed.
• Be flexible and adaptable to changing transportation needs.
• Report any incidents or issues to the management promptly.
