Finance Intern

Overview

The Finance Intern at the organisation will assist in managing financial records, processing transactions, and supporting budget preparation for our nonprofit initiatives. This role is essential for ensuring transparency and efficiency in our financial operations, allowing us to focus on driving social impact in Uganda. The intern will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit finance while contributing to meaningful projects that support our community.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in daily financial operations and transactions.
  2. Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
  3. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  4. Participate in reconciling bank statements and accounts.
  5. Assist in the management of donor funds and allocations.
  6. Conduct research to improve financial processes and practices.
  7. Support the finance team in auditing and compliance tasks.
  8. Participate in team meetings and contribute to financial discussions.
  9. Prepare and assist in financial presentations for stakeholders.
