Overview

The Events and Protocol Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of events that foster community engagement and raise awareness for our mission. This position involves coordinating logistics, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth operations during events, all while upholding the organization's values and enhancing our relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and organizing events, including fundraising activities and community outreach programs.
  • Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, and transportation for events.
  • Support the creation of event marketing materials and promotional content.
  • Manage guest lists and RSVP tracking to ensure smooth event attendance.
  • Serve as a point of contact for event participants, volunteers, and vendors.
  • Document event proceedings and capture feedback for future improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational protocols and guidelines during events.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors and partners.
  • Help with post-event evaluations and reporting to measure impact and success.
