Overview

The Employee Relations Officer at the organisation plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations, addressing concerns, and promoting effective communication. The officer will also collaborate with management to develop policies that enhance employee engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, promoting open communication.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation processes among staff members.
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to employee relations.
  • Conduct training sessions on employee rights, responsibilities, and organizational values.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and gather feedback through surveys and focus groups.
  • Collaborate with management to address workplace issues and improve retention rates.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations affecting employee relations.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure new employees feel welcomed and informed.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities and reports.
