Employee Engagement Officer

Overview

The Employee Engagement Officer at the organisation is responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee satisfaction. This role involves developing and implementing initiatives to boost morale, encourage teamwork, and ensure that all staff feel valued and connected to the organization’s mission. Through regular communication and feedback, the officer will help create an environment where employees can thrive and contribute to our social impact goals in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee morale.
  • Organize team-building activities and events to foster a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align engagement initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Provide training and resources for staff on effective communication and collaboration.
  • Create and distribute internal communications to keep employees informed and connected.
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics to assess effectiveness of strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and management to address concerns and suggestions.
  • Champion a culture of recognition and appreciation within the organization.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure new employees feel welcomed and valued.
