Director of Administration

Overview

The Director of Administration oversees the organization's operational functions, ensuring efficient systems and processes that support our mission in Uganda. This role involves managing administrative staff, developing policies, and coordinating resources to enhance the impact of our programs and services. The Director serves as a key leader, fostering a collaborative environment that drives our commitment to social change.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance organizational performance.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for the organization.
  • Coordinate human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and nonprofit standards.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Support the executive team in strategic planning and organizational development.
  • Manage office facilities and resources to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Oversee the management of grants and funding proposals to support program initiatives.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
