Overview

The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for all. This role includes managing a team of cleaners, coordinating schedules, and implementing best practices for hygiene and sanitation. By fostering a clean and organized space, the Cleaning Supervisor helps support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Supervise and train cleaning staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and staff performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment, encouraging collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.
