Overview

The Chief Strategy Officer plays a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the organization’s vision and strategic direction. This position involves developing innovative programs, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that our initiatives effectively address the needs of the communities we serve in Uganda. By leveraging data-driven insights and creative problem-solving, the Chief Strategy Officer helps drive meaningful social impact and sustainable growth for the nonprofit.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Analyze market trends and organizational performance to identify growth opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies with community needs and organizational mission.
  4. Oversee program development and evaluation to ensure effectiveness and impact.
  5. Lead cross-functional teams in executing strategic initiatives.
  6. Foster partnerships with other nonprofits, businesses, and government entities.
  7. Communicate strategic vision to staff, board members, and external partners.
  8. Monitor and report on progress towards strategic goals to the board of directors.
  9. Advocate for innovative solutions to address community challenges.
  10. Ensure alignment of resources with strategic priorities.
