Overview

The Chief Medical Officer oversees the organization’s health programs, ensuring they align with best practices and community needs. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals, managing initiatives, and driving impactful solutions to improve health outcomes in Uganda. The CMO also plays a key role in strategic planning and resource allocation to enhance the effectiveness of our services.

Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic medical leadership and vision for health-related initiatives.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of healthcare programs in Uganda.
3. Ensure compliance with local and international health regulations and standards.
4. Collaborate with local healthcare providers and organizations to enhance service delivery.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and services.
6. Develop and manage budgets for medical projects and initiatives.
7. Lead and mentor medical staff and volunteers in best practices.Engage with stakeholders to promote health education and awareness.
8. Conduct research to inform evidence-based practices and policies.
9. Represent Little x Little at health-related forums and conferences.
