Overview

The Training Officer at the organisation is responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs that empower community members and volunteers. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance skills, promote best practices, and foster a culture of learning, ultimately driving social change in Uganda. Through hands-on workshops and ongoing support, the Training Officer ensures that all participants are equipped to make a meaningful difference in their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for staff and volunteers.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and feedback.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Create training materials, manuals, and resources.
  • Coordinate with external trainers and experts as needed.
  • Support the onboarding process for new team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff and volunteers.
