Overview

The Senior Software Engineer plays a crucial role in designing and developing innovative technology solutions that empower our nonprofit platform. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience, streamline operations, and ensure the reliability of our systems, all while driving social impact in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support Little x Little’s mission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior software engineers.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance project outcomes.
• Participate in project planning and agile development processes.
• Ensure software security and data protection measures are effectively implemented.
• Document software specifications, architecture, and user manuals.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
