The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that our facilities and equipment remain safe, functional, and welcoming for our team and the communities we serve. This position involves regular inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain inventory of repair supplies and materials.
  • Document maintenance activities and report on completed tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Assist in setting up facilities for events and activities.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
  • Train staff and volunteers on basic maintenance practices.
