Overview

The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and tracking all inventory related to our programs and projects. This role involves ensuring accurate records, overseeing stock levels, and coordinating with team members to maintain an efficient supply chain that supports our mission in Uganda. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help us deliver essential resources to those in need.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all donated and purchased items.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with volunteers and staff to track inventory usage and needs.
  • Implement and uphold inventory management procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Assist in training volunteers on inventory management processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support program needs and initiatives.
