Overview

The Budget Manager at the organisation is responsible for overseeing the financial planning and management of the organization’s budget. This role involves tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and collaborating with program leaders to optimize resource allocation for maximum impact. Essentially, the Budget Manager helps ensure that every shilling is spent wisely to support our mission in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with program managers to forecast expenses and funding needs.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and financial regulations.

  • Facilitate financial training sessions for staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Support external audits and financial reporting processes.
