Overview

The Senior Officer plays a crucial role in overseeing program implementation and ensuring alignment with our mission to drive social impact in Uganda. This position involves strategic planning, managing partnerships, and guiding a team to foster community development initiatives, all while maintaining a focus on measurable outcomes and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive program effectiveness and community impact.
  2. Oversee project management, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Engage with stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community members, to foster partnerships.
  4. Analyze program outcomes and prepare reports for internal and external audiences.
  5. Manage and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
  6. Develop and lead training sessions for staff and volunteers on best practices and organizational values.
  7. Coordinate fundraising efforts and assist in grant writing to secure funding for initiatives.
  8. Monitor and evaluate program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
  9. Represent cxompany at community events and meetings to promote the organization’s mission.
  10. Stay informed on trends in the nonprofit sector and integrate innovative practices into programs.
