Payroll Administrator

Overview

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing and processing payroll for all staff and volunteers, ensuring timely and accurate compensation. This role involves maintaining payroll records, complying with local regulations, and addressing payroll inquiries to support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Process payroll for all staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Maintain payroll records and employee information confidentially.
  3. Ensure compliance with Ugandan labor laws and tax regulations.
  4. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
  5. Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies.
  8. Stay updated on best practices and changes in payroll legislation.
  9. Support year-end payroll processes, including tax filings.
