Overview

The Founder & Chairman is responsible for shaping and guiding the nonprofit's strategic vision and mission while overseeing its operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals. This role involves leading fundraising efforts, building relationships with donors and stakeholders, and representing the foundation publicly, all while fostering a positive organizational culture and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the foundation's strategic vision and mission.
  2. Oversee the overall operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Lead fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  4. Represent the foundation at public events and in the media.
  5. Establish and maintain a strong governance structure, including a board of directors.
  6. Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Foster a positive organizational culture and promote staff development.
  8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
