Overview

The Chief of Staff plays a crucial role in supporting the executive team by overseeing strategic initiatives and ensuring effective communication across departments. This position involves coordinating projects, managing resources, and fostering collaboration to drive the organization's mission forward in Uganda and beyond. The Chief of Staff is a key partner in enhancing operational efficiency and helping to achieve social impact goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Executive Director in strategic planning and implementation.
  2. Coordinate communication between departments and external stakeholders.
  3. Oversee project management to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  4. Assist in fundraising efforts and donor relations.
  5. Facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up on action items.
  6. Track organizational performance metrics and report on progress.
  7. Manage budgets and financial reporting for various programs.
  8. Lead staff development initiatives and foster a collaborative culture.
  9. Conduct research to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  10. Represent the organization at public events and in community engagement activities.
