Overview

The Chief Marketing and Growth Officer is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and support for our mission in Uganda. This role involves leading marketing initiatives, building partnerships, and fostering community involvement to enhance our impact and expand our reach. With a focus on storytelling and relationship-building, the position aims to inspire donors, volunteers, and supporters to join us in creating positive change.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
  2. Lead and manage all marketing and communication efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  3. Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and website management.
  4. Analyze market trends and audience insights to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
  5. Collaborate with program teams to create impactful storytelling and content that resonates with stakeholders.
  6. Build and nurture partnerships with local and international organizations to amplify outreach efforts.
  7. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed for maximum impact.
  8. Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
  9. Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the marketing team, encouraging new ideas and approaches.
