Access to clean and safe water is essential for life, health, and dignity. However, at Glorious Future Foundation, the current water source—a manual borehole—is outdated and no longer sufficient to meet the growing needs of children, staff, and the surrounding community. Long waiting times, limited output, and physical strain in water collection have made access to clean water increasingly difficult.
The Clean Water, Healthy Lives Initiative seeks to address this urgent need by upgrading the existing borehole or constructing a modern, efficient water system equipped with a pump. This will ensure a reliable and sustainable supply of clean water for all beneficiaries.
Through this project, children under the foundation’s care will have consistent access to safe drinking water, improving hygiene, health, and daily living conditions. Staff and volunteers will also benefit from improved operational efficiency, while the surrounding community will gain access to a dependable water source—reducing the burden of long-distance water collection.
Clean water plays a critical role in preventing waterborne diseases, improving sanitation, and supporting overall wellbeing. For children, access to safe water directly impacts their health, school attendance, and quality of life. For communities, it strengthens resilience and reduces vulnerability.
With a transparent and accountable approach, 100% of donations directed to this project go toward the development and maintenance of the water system. By supporting this initiative, donors contribute directly to saving lives, improving health outcomes, and creating a sustainable solution that benefits both current and future generations.
Across underserved communities in Uganda, many elderly individuals live in conditions of extreme vulnerability—without family support, safe shelter, or basic care. At Glorious Future Foundation, we encounter elderly men and women who sleep on cold floors, in deteriorating structures, or even in church premises due to lack of a safe place to call home. These conditions not only threaten their physical health but also diminish their dignity and sense of belonging.
The Safe Homes, Restored Dignity for the Elderly Project is designed to address this urgent need by providing safe, secure, and dignified living environments for vulnerable seniors. Rooted in compassion and guided by faith, this initiative focuses on both improving existing housing structures and constructing new homes for those without any form of shelter.
Through this project, elderly beneficiaries receive tailored support based on their level of need—ranging from provision of bedding and essential household items to full housing renovations and construction of new safe homes. Each intervention is designed to ensure safety, comfort, and long-term stability.
A safe home is more than just shelter—it restores dignity, promotes health, and provides peace of mind. For elderly individuals who have spent their lives contributing to their communities, this support is a way of honoring their value and ensuring they live their later years in comfort and respect.
With a transparent and accountable approach, 100% of donations directed to this project go toward direct beneficiary support. By contributing, donors play a direct role in restoring dignity, protecting vulnerable seniors, and creating safe spaces where they can live with peace and security.
Access to education remains one of the most powerful pathways out of poverty, yet many children in underserved communities across Uganda are unable to attend school due to financial constraints. At Glorious Future Foundation, we continue to encounter orphaned and vulnerable children who are eager to learn but are held back by the inability to afford school fees, uniforms, bags, and essential learning materials.
The Education Access for Vulnerable Children Project is designed to remove these barriers and ensure that every child has the opportunity to enroll, remain in school, and learn with dignity and confidence. Rooted in compassion and guided by faith, this initiative seeks not only to support education but to unlock the God-given potential within each child.
Through this program, children receive comprehensive education support packages tailored to their needs. This includes payment of school fees, provision of uniforms, scholastic materials, and essential supplies required for consistent school attendance and participation.
By addressing both financial and material barriers, the project promotes school retention, reduces dropout rates, and creates a stable environment for learning. Education not only equips children with knowledge but also empowers them with life skills, confidence, and opportunities for a better future.
With a transparent and accountable approach, 100% of donations directed to this project go toward direct educational support for beneficiaries. By investing in this initiative, donors play a vital role in transforming lives—enabling children to access education, build their future, and become active contributors to their communities.
Across underserved communities in Uganda, many vulnerable children continue to live in conditions that compromise not only their wellbeing but also their dignity. At Glorious Future Foundation, we encounter children who sleep directly on bare floors without mattresses or bedding, wear torn or inadequate clothing, and walk barefoot due to lack of shoes. These challenges expose them to health risks, emotional distress, and social exclusion.
The Restoring Dignity Through Basic Needs Project is designed to address these urgent gaps by providing essential items that every child deserves—safe sleeping materials, proper clothing, and basic personal necessities. Rooted in compassion and guided by faith, this initiative seeks to restore dignity while improving the overall living conditions of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Through this project, each beneficiary will receive carefully assembled dignity support packages, including mattresses, blankets, bedding, clothing, and shoes. These items are not luxuries—they are fundamental to a child’s health, confidence, and sense of belonging.
Beyond meeting immediate needs, this intervention contributes to improved physical health, better sleep, increased school participation, and enhanced self-esteem among children. A child who sleeps well, dresses appropriately, and feels cared for is better positioned to thrive both socially and academically.
With a transparent and impact-driven approach, 100% of donations directed to this project go toward the direct provision of these essential items. By supporting this initiative, donors play a direct role in transforming lives—restoring dignity, protecting health, and giving vulnerable children a renewed sense of hope and worth.
In the Teso sub-region of Uganda, many children are growing
up without the chance to go to school. Most of these children come from
families struggling with poverty, while others have lost one or both parents.
For them, education is a dream they can only watch from afar. This project, led
by Children’s Light of Teso Foundation (CLTF), seeks to build a free
primary school combined with a small technical training center that will offer
both academic and practical education. The aim is to create a place where
orphans and poor children can study, learn skills, and develop confidence in
themselves.
The school will provide quality education for children who
have been left behind due to financial challenges. Many of these children stay
home or end up doing small labor jobs to help their families survive. Some are
raised by grandparents who cannot even afford school uniforms, let alone school
fees. The project’s vision is to bring hope and light back into these
children’s lives through education that is free, inclusive, and skill-based.
This school will not only focus on classroom learning but
also introduce practical training in areas like tailoring, carpentry, and
small-scale farming. Such skills will help learners become self-reliant and
break the cycle of poverty. We believe that every child, no matter their
background, has a right to learn, grow, and live a meaningful life. The Children’s
Light of Teso Foundation School will be a place of transformation — giving
orphans and poor children the opportunity to build a brighter future for
themselves and their community.
The project aims to combat child labour in the agricultural sector, particularly in the sugarcane value chain and commercial sexual exploitation, in the regions of Busoga. It aims to strengthen the child protection system, community knowledge, and law enforcement authorities to identify, rescue, and recover survivors of child labour. The project will address gaps in legal and policy frameworks, weak enforcement, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. It will support education and training innovations to improve awareness, access to social protection, and evidence-based services. The project will work with the National Steering Committee on Child Labour and district sub-county and parish level stakeholders to address gaps in coordination and collaboration frameworks. The project will also enhance livelihood support for vulnerable households and young people, contributing to the overall objective of reducing child labor in the agricultural and commercial sexual exploitation sectors in Jinja and Luuka Districts, Uganda.

For too long, aid in Africa has followed a top-down script: Donors in the Global North fund large international organisations, who then trickle down resources to local implementers, often with strings attached and little say from the people most affected.
Read ArticleFor decades, billions of dollars in aid have flowed into Africa. Yet, progress often feels painfully slow. Why? Because much of the aid has been disconnected from impact on the ground. It's time to stop asking how much money is being sent, and instead ask: Who is making decisions? Where is the money going? And what are the real results? This is where a new aid model comes in one that is results-driven, transparent, and accountable to the people it's meant to serve.
Read ArticleWalk into any major aid organisation’s campaign material, a UN report, or a Western media feature on Africa, and chances are, you’ll see a version of the continent that feels painfully narrow.

Read BlogIn the nonprofit world, securing funding is often one of the biggest hurdles to achieving your mission. Unfortunately, many nonprofits in the Little by Little community operate under a misconception: they believe that if they simply put up a website, donors will be inspired to contribute. While a well-crafted website is a great tool for sharing your story, it’s far from enough to guarantee donations. To truly engage with donors and funders, nonprofits must understand the power of writing a well-developed project proposal.
