Little X Little performs rigorous due diligence on every nonprofit organization within our community to ensure they are conducting charitable work transparently and accountably, and that they meet all local government registration requirements.
We meticulously collect and review documentation for each organization, including legal documents, financial records, program materials, and lists of senior staff and board members. This validation process ensures that the organization is implementing projects as described and has the capacity to effectively communicate about its work. We also assess the organization's compliance with anti-terror guidelines and international philanthropic standards.
Many of our community organizations have successfully completed our vetting process, raising approximately $5,000 from over 40 unique donors within a specific timeframe. This serves as a crowdsourced step in our vetting process.
Once vetted and added to the Little X Little community, each organization is required to submit quarterly project reports, detailing project activities, achievements, and progress to date. These reports are shared with donors and made publicly available on the project page, ensuring transparency and accountability.
We conduct a comprehensive due diligence renewal on all organizations every two years, and make every effort to ensure each organization is visited by a Little X Little representative at least once a year.
In addition to the required participation in our community, our nonprofit partners have the opportunity to provide additional information about the effectiveness of their work. They can share insights into stakeholder engagement, innovative approaches, and program improvements based on data and feedback.
Through our LXL Rewards program, Little X Little ranks nonprofits as Partners, Leaders, or Superstars based on their engagement and commitment to effectiveness. Organizations ranked near the top receive increased visibility on our platform and are frequently recommended to donors and corporate partners.
