Programs Manager

Overview

The Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating our community-driven initiatives in Uganda. This role includes managing program development, ensuring effective implementation, and fostering partnerships with local stakeholders to drive social impact and empower vulnerable communities. The Programs Manager will also evaluate program outcomes to continuously improve our efforts and enhance the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs aligned with the organization's mission.
  • Coordinate with local partners and stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and community engagement.
  • Manage program budgets and ensure financial accountability and transparency.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact.
  • Lead and support program staff, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing to secure program resources.
  • Prepare regular reports on program activities and outcomes for stakeholders and donors.
  • Facilitate training and capacity-building workshops for community members and volunteers.
  • Stay updated on relevant trends and best practices in nonprofit program management.
  • Represent Little x Little at community meetings, conferences, and networking events.
